With Biblical literacy at an all-time low and screen time at an all-time high, the enemy has far too much access to our children’s hearts and minds. But we are not powerless. Root & Build follows the truth of Colossians 2:7 by coming alongside you—to root your children in God’s Word and help them build strong Biblical literacy, Christ-centered values, lasting family bonds, and a personal relationship with God the Father, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. And we do it all through fun, engaging, hands-on activities that bring Scripture to life.

Our mission is simple but deeply rooted: to equip you with tools that are low-prep, joy-filled, and theologically rich—so you can disciple your children with confidence and peace, even when life feels chaotic
We believe children are image-bearers of God, fully capable of knowing and loving Him. We believe the Bible is enough—it just needs to be opened, lived, and loved. And we believe discipleship doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be joyful, creative, and gently woven into the rhythms of your everyday life.

Hi, y’all! I’m Crystal—faith-filled mama, joyful teacher, and lover of all things hands-on and heart-deep.
Once upon a time, I had one of the coolest jobs ever: I was a professional LEGO model builder, building world-class creations for attractions around the globe. These days, I get to do something even more meaningful—help children fall in love with Jesus. Whether I’m teaching in AWANA, leading Sunday School, or crafting memory-making activities for VBS, my greatest joy is planting seeds of faith in little hearts.
